Influence of coordinated therapy with close family members on the eradication rate of Helicobacter pylori
To evaluate whether the eradication rate of Helicobacter pylori can be improved by coordinated therapy with spouse and close family members. Methods: 98 patients infected by Helicobacter pylori were divied into two groups according to whether the coordinated therapy were accomplished. Compared the eradication rate of Helicobacter pylori 3 monthes later after the therapy. Results: The eradication rate of Helicobacter pylori were significantly improved in people who received the coordinated therapy with spouse and close family members (80.5%vs61.4%,p=0.035). Conclusion: Coordinated anti-Helicobacter pylori therapy with spouse and close family members wil increase the eradication rate. The result has realistic significance to the treatment of digestive disease.
