To explore the causes of anaemia in pregnancy. Methods The clinical data of 13 weeks ago, 13 to 28 weeks and after 28 weeks of 980 cases of pregnant women in pregnancy care from 2012 to 2013 were col ected .They were divided into the research group (anemia) and the control group (normal). The incidence of anemia and causes of every period were analyzed. The difference of two groups of pregnant women in the level of age, region, culture, lifestyle, diet and adherence of drug were compared. Results The incidence of anemia during pregnancy was 26.5%, the incidence of anemia in early pregnancy was 4.6%, the incidence of anemia in middle pregnancy was 35.4% and the incidence of anemia in late pregnancy was 60%. The incidence of the mild anemia was 77.3%, moderate anemia was19.6%, severe anemia was 3.1%.The anemia of iron deficiency was 96.5%, 3.5%was for giant young red blood cel anemia and other causes anemia. There was no difference between the two groups of age, but the incidence of anemia group combination zone between urban and rural areas and rural areas is higher than the control group, anemia group cultural level is lower than the control group, anemia group of partial eclipse, worry about getting fat and irregular life were higher than the control group, and medication adherence was worse. Conclusion: The mild irondeficiency anemia was likely to occur during middle and late pregnancy. The health education during pregnancy, reasonable nutrition diet guidance and reasonable complement iron agent can reduce anemia during pregnancy.
