Separation rate and drug resistance of acinetobacter baumanni in the ICU wards
Objective To understand acinetobacter baumanni (ABA) clinical separation rate and drug resistance trend in ICU ward, it also used to guide clinical taking effective measures to prevent infection and rational use of antimicrobial agents. Methods Separation rate and drug resistance of acinetobacter baumanni in the clinical specimens of ICU wards from 2005 to 2013 were retrospectively analyzed; Using VITEK2 Compact automatic microbial analysis system to identification and drug sensitive test, and Using WHONET5.6 software analysis for data statistics and analysis. Results it was obvious that acinetobacter baumanni (ABA) clinical separation rate and drug resistance trend was increasing year by year and multiple drug resistance and Pan drug Resistant Strains ratio was on the rise. Conclusions This research shows that antibiotics should be rational y used to avoid blind application of antimicrobial selection pressure, strengthening the disinfection and isolation of the ICU ward and the management of hospital infection, so the acinetobacter baumanni colonization and spread could be effectively control in the hospital.
