Review on the classification of Coptotermes termite and its effect on Chinese plant quarantine
The subterranean termite Coptotermes spp.(non-Chinese) is a group of important pest in Chinese entry &exit plant quarantine list. In this paper, the progress in classification and distribution of the Coptotermes in the main districts over the world is reviewed, and the records of intercepting and capturing of the termite in Chinese port is summarized. Furthermore, the possible effect of the progress on Chinese plant quarantine is analyed.
