Pest risk analysis for non-breeding jatropha curcas seeds from Indonesia
Pest risk analysis of jatropha curcas seeds from Indonesia was conducted according to the FAO/IPPC international standards for phytosanitary measures and China national standard, technical requirement of pest risk analysis for import and export plant and plant product (GB/T 20879-2007).Jatropha curcas seeds from Indonesia may carry 76 species (genus) of pests.Pests of those not present in China or,if present,of limited distribution and subject to official control, were considered as potential quarantine pests for further assessment.18 species are regarded as potential quarantine pests,in which 6species are carried out for further analysis, and the 6 species are determined risk grade. And then management measures for reducing invasive risk are proposed in the meantime.
