The identification standards for quarantine pest is an important basis for pest quarantine identi-fication.Establishing and perfecting the identification standard system for import plant quarantine pests is an important measure to ensure national biosecurity and the basis of implementing plant quarantine.Plant pathogenic bacteria,as important members of plant pests,is a serious threat to agricultural production safety of our country.This paper sorts out all the identification standards for plant quarantine bacterium in Chi-na,discusses the development status and existing problems of the standardization of identification technol-ogy of quarantine bacterium,and puts forward suggestions and measures for the standards implementation,in order to provide reference for further carrying out the work related to the standardization of identifica-tion of quarantine bacterium.
