摘要

以第5号国际植物检疫措施标准-《植物检疫术语表》(2023年7月最新版)为例,分析植物检疫术语的汉译.指出植物检疫术语汉译存在误译、过于追求形式对等、词不达意、不够简练等问题,并提出植物检疫术语汉译的准确性、规范性、简明性、约定俗成性原则.关于未来植物检疫术语汉译及其研究提出以下建议:高校推进复合型人才培养工作,以培养出综合素质较高的译者;译者灵活运用翻译方法,确保术语汉译的规范化;相关部门注重术语汉译的更新与维护.以期为植物检疫术语的统一和规范化提供参考.

Abstract

Taking ISPM 05(latest Chinese version in July 2023)as an example,the paper analyzes Chi-nese translation of phytosanitary terminology.It points out there are some problems in Chinese translation of phytosanitary terminology,such as mistranslation,excessive pursuit of formal equivalence,inadequate ex-pression of words,and lack of concision.It then proposes translation principles of accuracy,standardiza-tion,conciseness,and convention for translating phytosanitary terminology into Chinese.To provide reference for the unification and standardization of phytosanitary terminology.Some suggestions on the Chinese translation and research of future phytosanitary terminology are also proposed.For universities,in order to cultivate translators with high comprehensive qualities,it is necessary to promote the cultivation of in-ter-disciplinary talents.As a translator,one should apply translation methods flexibly to ensure the nor-malization of terminology translation into Chinese.Meanwhile,relevant departments should focus on up-dating and maintaining the Chinese translation of phytosanitary terminology.
