Study on screening of effective fungicides and mixed preparations for controlling Cydia pomonella
To clarify the toxic effects of five insecticides on Cydia pomonella, reduce the use of pesti-cides,and delay the development of their resistance. The biological activity of five insecticides on the 3rd instar larvae of Cydia pomonella was measured using the soaking fruit method, and the synergistic effect of two insecticides mixed in different ratios was studied.Among the five pesticides,0.05%Emamectin benzoate WG exhibited the highest toxicity towards the 3rd instar larvae of the Cydia pomonella, with an LC50 of 0.27 mg/L.Following this,60 g/L Spinetoram SC demonstrated the next highest toxicity, with the LC50 of 0.93 mg/L;The remaining pesticides, including 200 g/L Tetraniliprole SC,10%Cyantraniliprole OD,and 200 g/L Chlorantraniliprole SC,displayed comparatively lower toxicity, with LC50 values ranging from 6.52 to 10.34 mg/L.The results of drug combination study revealed that the combination of 0.05%E-mamectin benzoate WG and 10%Cyantraniliprole OD active ingredient(in 1∶1 ratio)exhibited a syner-gistic effect on the 3rd instar larvae of Cydia pomonella, with a co-toxicity factor of 20.38.The results of the optimal ratio test demonstrated a synergistic effect when varying the ratio of 0.05%Emamectin benzoate WG to 10%Cyantraniliprole OD at 1∶2,1∶1,and 5∶1.Notably,the most significant synergistic ef-fect was observed at the 1∶2 ratio, yielding a co-toxicity coefficient of 268.When controlling Cydia pomonel-la,a single dose of 0.05%Emamectin benzoate WG or 60 g/L Spinetoram SC is recommended.Addition-ally,a combination of 0.05%Emamectin benzoate WG and 10%Cyantraniliprole OD effective ingredients(at a ratio of 1∶2)can be utilized effectively in a compound solution.
