Distribution,harmfulness and its assessment of jujube virus disease in Xinjiang
Jujube virous is a new disease of jujube,distributs in the main production area of jujube in Xinjiang.It mainly damages the fruits and leaves of jujube,causing yellowing and curling of the leaves and abnormal fruits.Currently,jujube virous disease is occurring sporadically in the jujube planting areas in Xinjiang.The average economic loss was 10％-25％in diseased jujube orchards,and that was more than 80％in severely diseased jujube orchards.It poses a severely threat to the jujube industry in Xinjiang,and it is urgent to conduct a comprehensive assessment of its transmission and spread risks in Xinjiang.Referring to the international regulations on pest risk analysis(PRA)procedures,combined with the planting situation of jujube trees in Xinjiang,climate change,etc.,a qualitative and quantitative analysis was con-ducted on the risk of jujube virus disease in Xinjiang.The results showed that the risk assessment value R for jujube virus disease in Xinjiang was 2.39,which was a highly dangerous forestry pest.Correspond-ing risk management strategies were proposed based on the actual situation of jujube virus disease occur-rence in Xinjiang.
