Development status of plant quarantine reference material and some suggestions
Plant quarantine reference material is physical standards developed according to the needs of implementing and formulating the written plant quarantine standards.The research and development of plant quarantine reference material has been carried out in weeds,insects,nematodes,viruses,fungi,bacteri-a,and transgenic plant components.This paper introduces the application of plant quarantine reference material in plant quarantine work,and describes the current development status of plant quarantine refer-ence material in China.There are some problems such as weak foundation of plant quarantine reference material,small quantity,imperfect system and insufficient investment of capital resources.In view of the current predicament,this paper puts forward suggestions on strengthening the development efficiency and updating of reference material,establishing and perfecting reference material management system,and pro-moting technological innovation and development.
