Analysis of the effect of NICU parental participatory nursing model in the care of premature infants
Objective:To explore the effect of parental participation nursing mode in neonatal intensive care unit(NICU)in the nursing of premature infants.Methods:From January 2020 to August 2022,80 preterm infants and their parents who were di-agnosed and treated in NICU of our hospital were selected and divided into two groups according to the two-layer block random-izer,with 40 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing support;At the same time,the observation group also carried out parental participatory nursing;The development of premature infants in the two groups was compared,and the parental competence in childcare was observed.Results:The growth rate of body weight,head circumference and height at 2 weeks of birth and the degree of intellectual development at 4 weeks in the observation group were higher than those in the con-trol group,and the incidence of adverse skin reactions was 7.50%lower than 27.50%in the control group(P<0.05).Pa-rental competence and family function in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Con-clusion:NICU parental participatory nursing model can promote the growth and development of premature infants,and im-prove the level of parental competence in child care.
