Analysis of the pre evaluation value of CMV combined with HPV and Reid colposcopy scoring index in the diagnosis of advanced cervical squamous intraepithelial lesions progression to cervical cancer
Objective:To explore the diagnostic value of cytomegalovirus(CMV)combined with human papillomavirus(HPV)and Reid colposcopy score index in predicting the progression of high-grade cervical squamous intraepithelial lesions(HSIL)to cervical cancer.Method:A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 83 HSIL patients admitted from January 2021 to January 2022.CMV,HPV,Reid colposcopy scores, and pathological tests were performed. The pathological results were used as the gold standard for predicting the progression of HSIL to cervical cancer, and the application value of a single test item and a combined test was evaluated.Result:A one-year follow-up was conducted, and the follow-up results were con-sistent with pathological predictions. The main reason was that 31 cases(37.35%)of HSIL advanced to cervical cancer. The CMV combined with HPV and Reid colposcopy scoring index were used to predict the progression of HSIL to cervical cancer. The consistency rate of the same gold standard method was higher than that of the single judgment method. In addition, the sensitivity, accuracy, and negative predictive values of the combined method were 96.77%,98.80%,and 98.11%,respective-ly,Both were higher than single detection methods(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of CMV combined with HPV and Reid colposcopy scoring index in predicting the progression of HSIL to cervical cancer is of great value, and has important help in preventing cervical cancer and early intervention, which is worth promoting.
