Objective:Exploring the effects of different labor positions on birth outcomes of primiparous women with macro-somic infants. Methods:Seventy cases of primigravida(combined with macrosomia)who underwent labor and delivery in the hospital from January 2020 to January 2022 were included in the retrospective study.A total of 35 primiparas were selected from January 2020 to January 2021 by convenient sampling method as the control group, and 35 primiparas were selected from February 2021 to January 2022 by convenient sampling method as the observation group.Comparison of the time of labor and delivery between the two groups. Results:Compared with the control group, the observation group had lower labor time and lower perineal tearing(P<0.05).The labor control scale(LAS)score and neonatal Apgar score were higher in the observa-tion group than in the control group(P<0.05).The pain rating index(PRI)score, realistic pain intensity(PPI)score, and visual analog scale(VAS)score, and total bleeding rate were lower in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Prone delivery in the second stage of labor for primigravid women with combined macrosomia has a better outcome, with shorter duration of labor,a better sense of labor control, less pain, and an improvement in adverse outcomes for mothers and infants.
