Clinical Efficacy of the Combination of Lactobacillus Vaginal Capsules and Estradiol Valerate in the Treatment of Senile Vaginitis
Objective:To explore the clinical effect of the combination of lactobacillus vaginal capsules and estradiol valerate in the treatment of senile vaginitis,and to provide reference for clinical physicians to choose a reasonable medication plan.Meth-ods:A total of 70 patients with senile vaginitis who received diagnosis and treatment at Kangping County People's Hospital in Shenyang City from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects.According to the random number table method,the study subjects were divided into two groups-the control group and the observation group(with 35 cases in each group).The control group was treated with estradiol valerate only,while the observation group was treated with a combination of lactobacillus vaginal capsules and estradiol valerate.The clinical efficacy(total effective rate),levels of sex hormone indica-tors,time of disappearance of clinical symptoms,and positive vaginal lactobacilli were compared between the two groups.Re-sults:The clinical treatment total effective rate,E2,and positive rate of vaginal lactobacilli in the observation group were high-er than those in the control group,while LH and P were lower than those in the control group.The disappearance time of symptoms such as external genital itching,abnormal vaginal discharge,vaginal congestion,and burning pain was shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of lactobacillus vaginal capsules and estradiol valerate in the treatment of senile vaginitis has a significant clinical effect,can correct the normal physiological state of the patient's vagina,accelerate the disappearance of clinical symptoms,and is recommended for clinical adoption.
