Influence of continuous quality improvement on diagnosis rate of pre-examination and triage in outpatient department of obstetrics and gynecology
Objective:To study the effect of continuous quality improvement on the diagnosis rate of pre-examination and triage in obstetrics and gynecology outpatient clinics. Methods:The research subjects selected 126 patients from January 2020 to De-cember 2021 in the outpatient department of obstetrics and gynecology in our hospital. The control group underwent routine management of pre-examination and triage, while the study group underwent continuous quality improvement. The two groups were compared in terms of diagnosis efficiency, triage satisfaction, patient compliance, incidence of adverse events and diagno-sis rate. Results:Compared with the control group, the average time of diagnosis and the waiting time of patients in the study group were shorter(P<0.05).The scores of degree, disease inquiry skills and warm reminders were all higher(P<0.05);the compliance rate of the study group(96.83%)was higher than that of the control group(82.54%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the study group(98.41%)had a higher diagnosis rate than the control group(85.71%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the incidence of adverse events in the study group(1.59%)was lower than that in the control group(20.63%),with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:The appli-cation of continuous quality improvement in pre-examination and triage in obstetrics and gynecology outpatient clinic can im-prove the diagnosis rate, reduce adverse events, improve the efficiency of triage, and promote the improvement of patient satis-faction.
