Clinical efficacy of hysteroscopic resection for submucosal uterine fibroids
Objective:To analyze the clinical effect of hysteroscopic resection in the treatment of submucosal uterine fibroids. Methods:A total of 86 patients with submucosal uterine fibroids admitted to Dongda Hospital in Pizhou were selected as the subjects of this study. They were selected from March 2021 to November 2022.According to different treatment methods, they were divided into two groups:control group(n=43)and observation group(n=43)with laparotomy.Perioperative inde-xes,visual analogue scale(VAS),menstrual duration, menstrual volume, endometrial thickness and postoperative complica-tions were compared between the two groups. Results:The observation group operation time(32.32±5.38)min,the postop-erative exhaust time(1.43±0.55)h,the first time to get out of bed(2.21±0.56)h,and the hospital stay(5.11±0.56)d were shorter than control group(P<0.05).The observation group intraoperative blood loss(41.54±5.87)mL was less than control group(P<0.05).The observation group VAS score was lower than control group at 1,3 and 7 days after operation(P<0.05).After treatment, the observation group menstrual duration and the amount of menstruation were smaller than control group(P<0.05).The observation group incidence of total complications was lower than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:In patients with submucosal uterine fibroids, hysteroscopic resection can significantly shorten the perioperative time of various indicators, make menstrual duration and menstrual volume gradually return to normal, relieve patients'pain,re-duce intraoperative blood loss and the occurrence of complications.
