Observation on the assisted application of freehand rotation of fetal head in the second stage of labor of parturient women with cephalic dystocia
Objective:To analyze the effect of manual rotation of fetal head in the second stage of labor of women with cephalic dystocia Methods:Data of 56 cases of cephalic dystocia who delivered in our hospital from January 2020 to December 2023 were retrospectively analyzed, and 28 cases in each group were divided into two groups according to whether the second stage of la-bor was performed by hands-free rotation of fetal head. The control group received traditional obstetric care during the second stage of labor, and the observation group received hands-free rotation of the fetal head during the second stage of labor. The to-tal labor time, neonatal neurobehavioral score and delivery outcome were analyzed and compared. Results:The second stage of labor in the observation group was significantly shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05),and the total time of labor in the observation group was significantly shorter than that in the control group(P>0.05).Neurobehavioral scores in obser-vation group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05).The rates of vaginal laceration, neonatal asphyxia and post-partum hemorrhage in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The use of hand rotation fetal head surgery in the second stage of labor can improve the delivery outcome of women with head position dys-tocia,promote neonatal neurobehavioral development, and shorten the total labor time, which has certain promotional value.
