Effect of pain management based on fear-avoidance model in patients with kinesiophobia after PCI
Objective:Investigating the effectiveness of pain management guided by the fear-avoidance model theory in patients with kinesiophobia in reducing kinesiophobia and angina pain after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods:The research object consisted of 72 patients who were hospitalized in cardiology department undergoing initial PCI from September 2022 to June 2023 were selected and divided into the control group with routine nursing(n=36)and the intervention group in-creasing the content of pain management basing on the control group(n=36)by random number table method.Comparing the degree of changes in kinesiophobia and postoperative angina pain score after the intervention in the two groups. Results:After 12 weeks of intervention, the level dgree of kinesiophobia and angina pain in the intervention group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Pain management based on the fear-avoidance model is effective in reducing the level of kinesiophobia and angina pain in patients after PCI.
