Effect of acupuncture and moxibustion and Moxibustion Combined with Massage Manipulation on Glucose and Lipid Metabolism and Weight Control in Female Abdominal Obesity with Spleen Deficiency and Dampness Excess Syndrome
Objective:To explore the effect of acupuncture and moxibustion combined with massage on glucose and lipid metabo-lism and weight control in the treatment of female abdominal obesity with spleen deficiency and damp excess syndrome.Meth-ods:90 cases of abdominal obesity with the syndrome of spleen deficiency and dampness excess who were treated in our hospital from April 2020 to June 2022 were selected as the research objects, and were divided into the observation group(n=45)and the control group(n=45)according to the digital blind selection method. Results:After treatment, the levels of fasting blood sugar(FPG),insulin(FINS),cholesterol(CH),triglyceride(TG)and low-density lipoprotein(LDL)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the levels of high-density lipoprotein(HDL)were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the waist circumference, body weight, and body mass index(BMI)of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The compliance rate of the observation group was 93.33%,which was higher than that of the control group by 62.22%(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was 91.11%,which was higher than 66.67%of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of acupuncture and moxibustion and massage for female abdominal obesity patients with spleen deficiency and dampness syndrome can effectively improve the metabolism of glucose and lipid, improve the compliance and effectively control the weight, improve the clinical efficacy, and have clinical promotion value.
