Acceptance of the effect of promised nursing therapy in improving the stress status,coping styles and delivery outcomes of patients with gestational diabetes
Objective:To investigate the effectiveness of acceptance commitment care therapy in improving stress status,coping styles and birth outcomes in patients with gestational diabetes.Methods:From January 2022 to January 2023,120 patients with gestational diabetes mellitus treated in our hospital were selected and divided into two groups(n=60)according to different care regimens.Among them,the treatment group was given acceptance commitment nursing therapy and the control group was given conventional nursing care,comparing the glucose metabolic indexes,Perceptual Stress Scale(PSS)scores,coping style scores and maternal and infant outcomes between the two groups.Results:Before the nursing intervention,there was no signif-icant difference between the two groups in terms of glucose metabolic indexes(P>0.05),but after the nursing intervention,the glucose metabolic indexes decreased significantly in both groups,with the treatment group being significantly lower(P<0.05);Before nursing intervention,the coping style scores of the two groups were compared(P>0.05),after nursing inter-vention,the positive coping scores of both groups increased and the negative coping scores decreased,and the positive coping scores of the treatment group were higher than those of the control group and the negative coping scores were lower than those of the control group(both P values<0.05);compared with the control group,the incidence of gigantic babies,preterm babies and neonates with hypoglycaemia was significantly lower in the treatment group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acceptance of com-mitment care therapy for patients with gestational diabetes can facilitate effective control of blood glucose levels,reduce psycho-logical stress,avoid negative coping,promote positive coping with the disease and improve maternal and infant outcomes,and is worthy of clinical promotion.
