Objective:To explore and analysis the effect of acupuncture and moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese med-icine fumigation on shoulder pain in menopausal women.Methods:From August 2020 to February 2023,78 cases of patients with menopausal female shoulder pain who were diagnosed and treated in a certain hospital were selected.Accorded to the ran-dom number table,78 patients were divided into the acupuncture and moxibustion group and the traditional group.The tradi-tional group were treated with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation,and the acupuncture and moxibustion group were trea-ted with acupuncture and moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation.The two groups were observed for 4 weeks,and the prognosis recovery of the patients in the two groups were observed and recorded.Results:Compared to the pain VAS scores of the traditional group at the first,second and fourth weeks of treatment,those of the acupuncture and moxibustion group were significantly lower(P＜0.05).The Constant Murley Shoulder joint function score after 4 weeks of treatment in both groups were higher than that before treatment(P＜0.05),and the Constant Murley Shoulder joint function score after 4 weeks of treatment in the acupuncture and moxibustion group were significantly higher than that in the traditional group(P＜0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment,compared to the total effective rates in traditional group(79.49%),that in the acupuncture and moxibustion group(97.44%)were significantly improved(P＜0.05).The serum Transforming growth fac-tor-β1 and Prostaglandin E2 after 4 weeks of treatment in both groups were lower than that before treatment(P＜0.05),and the serum Transforming growth factor-β1 and Prostaglandin E2 in the acupuncture and moxibustion group after 4 weeks of treatment were lower than that of the traditional group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:acupuncture and moxibustion combined with Chinese herbal fumigation canimprove thefunctionof Shoulderjoint,relieve the pain condition,improve theoverall therapeutic effect of patients,and reduce the serum Transforming growth factor-β1 and Prostaglandin E2 levels of patients with menopa-usal female shoulder pain.
