Effect of pelvic swing combined with free position in elderly full-term pregnant women
Objective:To investigate the effects of pelvic swing combined with free position on the progress of labor and early pelvic floor function in elderly full-term pregnant women. Methods:A total of 96 elderly full-term pregnant women admitted to our hospital from February 2022 to February 2024 were included in the study. They were divided into observation group and control group by random number table method, with 48 patients in each group. The control group and the observation group received routine midwifical care, pelvic swing combined with free position, respectively. The rate of cesarean section and peri-neal lateral incision, different labor time and VAS score,PMS-SF positive emotional score, early pelvic floor function and the incidence of pelvic floor dysfunction were compared between the two groups. Results:There was no significant difference in ce-sarean section rate and lateral perineal resection rate between the two groups (P>0.05).The first and second stages of labor in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the VAS score was lower than that in the control group (all P<0.05).The scores of OMS-SF positive emotion in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05).The puerperal pelvic floor function parameters (URA,PUA,BND)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05).The incidence of pelvic floor dysfunction in observation group was lower than that in control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:Pelvic swing combined with free position can shorten labor time, relieve pain,im-prove positive psychological score, facilitate early recovery of pelvic floor function, and reduce the incidence of pelvic floor dys-function.
