Effect of resistance training and staged nursing on upper limb lymphedema and upper limb function in patients with breast cancer after operation
Objective:To study the effect of resistance training combined with staged nursing on upper limb lymphedema and upper limb function in patients with breast cancer after surgery.Methods:80 patients with breast cancer admitted in hospital from January 2021 to June 2023 were selected and divided into two groups according to the random number table.The control group (n=40)received routine nursing,and the observation group (n=40)received resistance training combined with staged nursing.Compare the degree of upper limb lymphedema between two groups of patients before and after nursing care,excellent rate of upper limb function,quality of life score before and after nursing care,psychological capital status score before and after nursing care;The incidence of upper limb infections.Results:Before nursing,the degree of upper limb lymphedema in both groups of patients,quality of life rating,comparison of psychological capital status scores (P>0.05),after nursing,the de-gree of upper limb lymphedema in the observation group of patients,quality of life rating,the scores of psychological capital status were better than those of the control group (P<0.05);The excellent rate of upper limb function in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05);The incidence of upper limb infection in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of resistance training and staged nursing can improve the upper limb lymphedema and enhance the upper limb function of patients with breast cancer after surgery,which is worth popularizing.
