Study on Shoot Growth and Photosynthetic System Regulation of'Muscat Hamburg'Grapevine by Foliar Spraying of Selenium
To investigate the regulatory role of trace element selenium on shoot growth and photosynthetic system of grapevine,nine-year-old self-rooted'Muscat Hamburg'grapevine were foliar-applied with three concentrations of Na2SeO3 solution at 50,100,150 mg·L-1,shoots growth amount of plants was measured, and the change patterns of photosynthetic pigment content and chlorophyll fluorescence-related indexes were analyzed in different periods. The results showed that shoot length, mean internode length, mean internode thickness, photosynthetic pigments and chlorophyll fluorescence of'Muscat Hamburg'grapevine were the highest at 50 mg·L-1 Na2SeO3 treatment, and with the increase of exogenous selenium concentration, all index showed a trend of increasing and then decreasing.Foliar application of 50 mg·L-1 Na2SeO3 treatment enhanced the fluorescence intensity of each phase of'Muscat Hamburg'grapevine, and ETo/RC,ABS/CSo,DIo/CSo,TRo/CSo,and ETo/CSo were significantly different compared to CK.The performance index based on light absorption energy(PI abs)of'Muscat Hamburg'grapevine increased significantly under different exogenous selenium treatments. It suggested that suitable concentration of selenium could increase chlorophyll level, improve photosystem electron transfer efficiency and promote the growth of'Muscat Hamburg'grapevine, with the optimum concentration of 50 mg·L-1 Na2SeO3.
