Effect of Leaf Removal on Fruit Quality and Expression of Flavonoid Synthesis-related Genes in'Red Globe'Grapevine
Taking'Red Globe'grapevine as materials, one, two, four leaves were picked at the beginning and end of fruit veraison, respectively. The physicochemical indexes and phenolic substances content of fruits under different leaf removal treatments were detected and analyzed, and these quality indexes were analyzed by principal component analysis and comprehensive evaluation. At the same time, the two better treatments were selected for real-time fluorescence quantitative analysis of flavonoid synthesis-related genes and transcription factors, and the correlation between phenolic substances content and flavonoid synthesis genes was analyzed. The results showed that different leaf removal treatments had different effects on the physicochemical indexes and phenolic substances content of grapes. Most leaf removal treatments increased the sugar content of fruits, increased the phenolic substances content of peel, and up-regulated the relative expression levels of related genes and transcription factors. The genes of CHS3,DFR1,FAOMT,CHI2 and GST4 were closely related to the phenolic substances content. The results of principal component analysis showed that one leaf was removed from the base of fruit branch at the end of veraison of'Red Globe'grapes, and the comprehensive quality of the fruit was the best.
