Botanical and Cutting Characteristics Analysis of Eight Specific Vitis Davidii Germplasm Resources in Zhejiang region
Vitis davidii is one of the characteristic wild grape resources of East Asian populations, originating from China. The genetic diversity was analyzed, using SSR molecular markers, and their phenological, botanical, and rooting characteristics were evaluated. This study screened 8 specific germplasm resources in Zhejiang region, including VD1,VD3,VD5,VD6,VD9,VD11,VD12,and VD15.Cluster analysis showed that Vitis davidii have strong regional characteristics. The rooting of Vitis davidii was difficult, without any heating or other measures,VD15 had the best cutting rooting, which had 13.33% of rooting rate, and 86.67% of callus induction rate. The slicing results showed that the epidermal cells at the location of the prickles extended more. The formation of grape callus tissue and rooting were two independent processes. The above results have laid the foundation for the screening and utilization of Vitis davidii resources.
