Physiological Responses of Anther to High Temperature Stress in Rices
In order to ascertain the physiological reaction and mechanism of adaption to high temperature stress of anther in rice,we treated heat-tolerant line 996 and heat-sensitive line 4628 with high temperature (9:00-17:00,37 ℃; 17:00-9:00,30 ℃) treatment and optimal temperature (9:00-17:00,30 ℃; 17:00-9:00,25 ℃)treatment in the growth chambers. The soluble sugar content, soluble protein content, heat stable protein content, vitamin C content, membrane permeability and endogenous hormone content of anther in rice were studied. The results showed that soluble sugar content, soluble protein content and vitamin C content of anther decreased under high temperature stress, but heat stable protein content increased; The increase scope of malondialdehyde (MDA) content and relative conductivity in heat-sensitive line 4628 was greater under high temperature stress than that of in heat-tolerant line 996; Under high temperature stress,GA3 and IAA content of anther decreased, while ABA content of anther increased, the decreasing scope of GA3 and IAA content in heat tolerant line 996 was less than that of heat-sensitive line 4628,the increasing scope of ABA content was less than that of heat-sensitive line 4628.
