Regulation of plant hormones on seed dormancy and germination
Seed dormancy is an important agricultural trait in crop. It is closely related with crop yield and quality. Disturbing of seed dormancy would cause either pre-harvest sprouting or germination deifciency. Seed dormancy and germination are regulated by many developmental cues, such as plant hormones, and many envi-ronmental cues, such as humidity and temperature. Here, we mainly focused on the regulation of plant hor-mones on seed dormancy. Further study on the key components in this process will help us to elucidate the mo-lecular mechanism of seed dormancy and control the pre-harvest sprouting in crop.
