5'UTR在植物基因表达调控中的功能研究进展

摘要
植物5'非翻译区(untranslated region,UTR)存在众多的调控元件,如内部核糖体进入位点、上游开放阅读框、内含子及各种二级结构,在基因表达调控中发挥重要作用.5'UTR还能够通过保留、删除或突变调控元件产生多个mRNA变体,从而影响翻译效率.本文对植物5'UTR中涉及的各种调控元件及二级结构的作用机制进行了总结归纳,期望较为全面展示植物5'UTR的结构和功能,并为研究植物5'UTR的调控机制提供参考.
Abstract
Plant 5'untranslated region(UTR)involves a variety of regulatory elements,such as internal ribo-somal entry site,upstream open reading frame,introns,and various secondary structures,which play im-portant roles in gene expression and regulation.5'UTR can also produce multiple mRNA variants by re-taining,deletion or mutation of regulatory elements to modulate translation efficiency.In this review,we summarize various regulatory elements and secondary structures involved in plant 5'UTR sequence,and expect to provide a comprehensive understanding of the structures and functions of plant 5'UTR,which may provide the evidence for further study in relevant field.
