过表达PvARL8基因促进柳枝稷植株生长

二磷酸腺苷-核糖基化因子(ADP-ribosylation factors,ARFs)对植物的生长发育具有重要的影响.该研究以乙醇能源模式植物柳枝稷为材料,克隆ARFs家族成员PvARL8基因,其编码184个氨基酸,与水稻OsARL1b同源性为97.83%;表达模式结果显示,该基因在柳枝稷营养生长E3时期基因表达量较高,在叶、茎、花、分蘖中表达量高于根;过表达PvARL8柳枝稷植株叶宽、茎粗增加,分蘖增多,其与SLs合成和信号转导相关的基因PvD27、PvD3和PvD14表达量显著低于对照植株.上述结果表明PvARL8对柳枝稷植株生长发育有正调控作用,可促进植物生长,该研究是首次阐述PvARL8在柳枝稷中的功能.
Overexpression PvARL8 gene promotes switchgrass plant growth
ADP-Ribosylation Factors play important roles in plant growth and development.The PvARL8 was cloned that a member of the PvARFs family,from the ethanol energy model plant switchgrass.PvARL8 encodes 184 amino acids,which the homology is 97.83%with rice OsARL1b.Expression pattern results suggested PvARL8 is highly expressed in switchgrass elongation stage E3,while expression levels in leaf,stem,flower,and tiller are all higher than root.Moreover,overexpression PvARL8 transgenic plants shown that wider leaves,stems,and more tillers compared to the control.Meanwhile,SLs phytohormones biosynthesis and signaling transduction genes of PvD27,PvD3,and PvD14 relative expression lower than control.All these results indicate that PvARL8 functions potentially in switchgrass plant growth and was proved is the first time.
