Invertase affects balance of sucrose metabolism,signal transduction,stomatal movement,drought tolerance and defense response during the growth and development of higher plant.Invertase in-hibitor can regulate activity of invertase at the post-translational level.Therefore,the biological function and interaction between invertase and its inhibitors are one of the research hotspots in this field.This pa-per summarizes and analyzes the classification,structure,and biological function of invertase and its in-hibitors.
