An Analysis of the Changes in Women's Clothing from the Late Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China Through the Perspective of the Style of Jin Merchants in the Qiao Family Courtyard
The royal look at the Imperial Palace,the famous house to see Qiao home.As the first of the top ten business groups,among which Qiaojia courtyard in Qi County,Shanxi is the treasure of Jin merchants,which is the most complete and classic social courtyard of ancient Chinese houses.Rigorous family style and rules,the way of business,in the rise and fall,is a unique cultural representative.In this period,Jin shang women were progressive and backward.Starting from the clothing culture of the three Jin dynasties,this paper analyzes the reform of female clothing in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China from the change of politics,thought and status.
