The development of thousands of years of Chinese characters,is an important carrier of China's national culture.The calligraphy art based on Chinese characters,as the visual art form to show the beauty of Chinese characters,gives Chinese characters a new direction in the modern design,that is,returning to the localization and showing the unique beauty of Chinese elegance.This paper will analyze the design application of the artistic language of beautiful form and artistic conception in the art of Chinese calligraphy,show the vigorous vitality of Chinese calligraphy in the design under the combination of form and meaning,and give it new life in the contemporary era with the power of art.
