The design of the Pompidou Cultural Center originated from an architectural design competition in the 1970s.Designers Renzo Piano and Richard Rogers were the designers.The architectural design ideas were bold,and the design style ran counter to the traditional architectural style of Paris,breaking the definition of traditional space.In view of this,the research purpose of this paper is to analyze the Pompidou Cultural Center from the perspective of art and design psychology.On the basis of briefly expounding the meaning and application of art psychology,with the help of the example of the Pompidou Cultural Center,in-depth analysis of the specific application of art and design psychology in design.
