"Ratio Sunken and Heroic"——The Use of Xu Wei's Scriptural Strokes in the Innovative Design of Characters
Xu Wei is one of the most distinctive and representative artists in the chinese traditional fine art circle.His freehand painting and unique calligraphy style play an important role in the artistic creation.This paper aims to be based on the freehand brushwork,by analyzing the style and characteristics of Xu Wei's work ink Grape Picture,studying the characteristics of its composition,shape and strokes and the performance of freehand brushwork,extracting these characteristics to innovate the text design,and pursuing the artistic conception of elegant brushwork without seeking similar shape.Exploring Xu Wei's style in freehand brushwork has profound enlightenment for the exploration of contemporary artistic value,and also highlights the importance of freehand brushwork for spreading the connotation of traditional chinese culture.
