Under the background of aging population in our country,the proportion of elderly groups in the total number of tourists is gradually rising.However,at present,the space design of some tourist service centers has not fully considered the needs of elderly groups and transformed the aged.Therefore,on the basis of in-depth research on the physiological and psychological needs of elderly groups,this paper believes that in the design process of public space of tourist service center,targeted age-appropriate design should be carried out in terms of space layout,scale control,traffic flow line,material selection and color matching so as to optimize the space.The aim is to improve the comfort and convenience of the elderly in the public space of the tourist service center through these measures,and create a more suitable service environment for the elderly to travel.
