Abstract
Moire is one of the important design elements in the Chinese traditional decorative patterns.As a visual symbol symbolizing longevity,auspicious and rising,moire has auspicious meaning.After thousands of years of social changes,moire has been more widely used from ancient cultural relics,architecture to modern clothing,home furnishing,industry and other fields.From the origin and development of traditional moire,artistic characteristics and visual expression,how to adapt to the development of modern design and other related issues.Highlight the cultural core of the traditional moire,combine the traditional auspicious cloud culture with the aesthetic appreciation of the times,and attach importance to the cultural influence and development potential of the moire in the future design.It is conducive to promoting the inheritance and development of Chinese traditional decorative patterns,and also provides inspiration for the innovation and development of modern design.
