Analysis of Spatial Design Strategies For Children's Book Bars under the Concept of Embodied Cognition
As an informal space for modern people, the number of adult book bars in China is much higher than that of children's book bars.Book bars are difficult to meet the development needs of children's leisure, exploration, and communication.Traditional children's book bars also lack embodiment and diversity in design, and children are still in the traditional learning mode of sitting in front of their desks. Therefore, applying the concept of embodied cognition provides a new perspective, elucidating the concepts of embodiment and cognition, analyzing the stages of children's cognitive development, studying the characteristics of children's needs in book bar spaces, and the behavioral patterns of different age groups.Propose modern children's book bar space design strategies and design analysis research, address traditional learning patterns for children, and provide reference significance for constructing and applying them to children's book bar space design.
