Traffic sign is an important way of information transmission in the road traffic system,and its graphic design should consider the visual cognitive characteristics of drivers.Based on the theory of visual cognition,this paper discusses the problems existing in the current traffic sign graphic design,through the basic principles and influencing factors of visual cognition,puts forward the optimization scheme and suggestions of traffic sign graphic design,in order to improve the recognition and practicability of traffic signs.
