Study on the Design of Youth Living Alone in Shanghai based on UCLA Loneliness Scale
As a large number of young people flock to big cities to pursue work and life,as well as the younger generation's increasing awareness of autonomy,rising desire for personal life,improving education levels,changes in marriage and family values,and the aging of the population,"living alone"It is gradually becoming the lifestyle chosen by more and more young people.The number of young people living alone in the big city of Shanghai continues to rise,and this trend is becoming more and more obvious.Young people living alone often suffer from emotional loneliness due to their irregular living habits in an environment where they are easily isolated in society.This paper focuses mainly on the"Shanghai drifters"group,which specifically refers to this group of people who are looking for jobs in Shanghai or staying in Shanghai after being employed for more than half a year.Through the research method of UCLA Loneliness Scale,we understand their living conditions,living satisfaction and loneliness.extent,while exploring their interrelationships in general terms.From the perspective of"community design",explore new solutions to deal with multi-level social exclusion,such as creating social spaces for young people or establishing social networks to promote young people's social participation,and propose that society has a negative impact on the lives of Shanghai drifting youth as a group.environmental concerns,thereby enhancing their sense of social belonging to the city of Shanghai.
