The mural paintings of Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes are the treasures of Chinese traditional culture,among which the decorative patterns are an important form of expression,which are reflected in different historical periods of Dunhuang mural paintings,and show their special historical and cultural appearance.This paper deeply studies the application of Dunhuang decorative patterns in cultural and creative design,and discusses in detail how to skillfully integrate the elements of Dunhuang decorative patterns with unique artistic charm,such as color,shape and composition,into modern cultural and creative products,so that they have both artistic value and practical functions.
