Rural revitalization strategy is regarded as the main path of China's economic development in the new era,among which,rural landscape planning and design is the key tool to promote this goal.In this environment,in order to improve the living quality and living conditions of rural residents,rural landscape planning and design work need to be carried out,which helps to further deepen the integration of urban and rural areas in the process of urbanization.This paper mainly discusses the problems facing rural landscape design,and puts forward a series of methods about how to use local culture and tradition to optimize rural landscape design,and confirms them with practical examples.Finally,the implementation effect will be evaluated,hoping to better maintain and develop the local regional culture,and at the same time to improve the texture and sustainability of the landscape design,so as to achieve the purpose of protecting and inheriting the local culture,and then improve the rural landscape situation,and help the long-term progress of the rural society.
