At present,the aging problem of China's population is increasingly prominent,and the elderly have become a huge shoe market audience group,which brings diversified development opportunities for the design of ankle protection shoes for the elderly in China.Based on the perspective of design analysis,this paper analyzes the functions of ankle shoes for the elderly,including safety function and comfort function,explores the design status of ankle shoes for the elderly in China,and excavates the ankle shoes for the elderly design hidden problems and explore the causes of hidden problems.Based on this,combined with the physical and mental needs of the elderly,a number of design points of ankle shoes for the elderly are defined,and the design optimization strategy of ankle shoes for the elderly is put forward.
