With the advent of the new media era,China's animation industry is facing new challenges of transformation and upgrading.Only by realizing the combination of animation design with traditional culture and enhancing the originality of animation script content and the uniqueness of animation elements can we promote the vigorous development of China's animation industry.This paper aims to explore the innovative application of Chinese traditional cultural elements in the animation work"Legend of Mortal Xiuxian",and show the modern charm of traditional culture through original script content and unique animation elements.The study found that through the clever use of traditional ideas and elements,the work not only enhances the depth of character design,but also provides rich cultural connotation for the scene design,effectively excavates the new vitality of traditional culture,so as to promote the innovative development of China's animation industry.
