When the Chinese traditional festivals passed down from generation to generation are combined with the science fiction illustration design of the new era,the collision and integration between the two open up a new world for artistic creation,and also inject new vitality into cultural inheritance.This paper aims to discuss how to integrate and express the traditional Chinese festivals in the design of science fiction illustration,so as to create the illustration design works with both the cultural heritage and the future sense of science fiction.Through the overview of Chinese traditional festivals and the analysis of the artistic characteristics of science fiction illustration design,the method of fusion expression is proposed,so as to provide new ideas and reference for related design fields.
