In the field of contemporary architecture,we can not talk about"Street"without mentioning"Street aesthetics".Based on the theory of"Aesthetics of streets",this study is an on-the-spot investigation of Bianhe Street in Yueyang,Hunan province,in-depth analysis of the problems and causes of street space design in Bianhe Street in Yueyang from various perspectives,including street space features,street elements and street functions,this paper verifies the practical effect of the theory of"Street Aesthetics"applied in the design of Bianhe Street,and also analyzes some deficiencies of"Street aesthetics"in the design of contemporary human settlements,at last,I put forward my own opinion.
