This paper uses the comparative analysis method to analyze the different models of talent cultivation in the decoration design major in technical colleges at home and abroad,involving Jiangsu Province Transportation Technician College,the national talent cultivation standard for technical skills and the foreign education system represented by Germany.Taking the commodity display technology competition items as an example,it is analyzed that this competition item puts forward all-round requirements for the professional skills and comprehensive qualities of the contestants,and explores the methods of integrating the commodity display technology competition items and the teaching of the decoration design major in technical colleges.
