With the rapid development of digital information technology,society demands higher thinking abilities from art professionals.Environmental design education must adapt,emphasizing innovative thinking and exploring sustainable design thinking development through cross-disciplinary integration.This paper discusses design thinking-centered reforms in environmental design education,analyzing current research,shortcomings in curriculum,teaching methods,and talent cultivation.It highlights the crucial role of design thinking in talent development and proposes specific strategies to enhance students'thinking abilities and foster innovative environmental design talents.
