In this paper,the innovation engineering design,which plays a leading role in the development of new quality productivity in footwear manufacturing industry,is deeply discussed.Firstly,the concept of new quality productivity is defined,and the pain points such as the shortage of talents and the lack of grasp of market trend in the development process of footwear manufacturing industry are analyzed in detail.It is pointed out that the integration of innovative engineering design is the key to improve product quality and competitiveness,and the core strategy to develop new quality productivity is to combine interdisciplinary talent training and accurate market prediction ability.Therefore,the comprehensive teaching system of"government,industry,university and research"should be built to promote the deep integration of art and science and create more practical value for enterprises.It plays an important guiding role in the development of new quality productivity of footwear manufacturing industry.
