Exploring the Revitalization of Traditional Village"Hollow Village"in Northern Guilin from the Perspective of Design Studies——Tianxin Village in Guilin City,Guangxi as an Example
This study explores the revitalization of traditional villages in northern Guilin from the perspective of design.Firstly,it defines the characteristics of"hollow villages"and the problems they face,such as outflow of population,vacant houses and functional decline,and points out the consequences of economic decline,cultural disappearance and loss of traditional skills;then we analyze the successful cases of Lianghekou Village in Enshi Prefecture,Hubei Province and Pingnan County,Fujian Province,and summarize the experience and inspiration of revitalization and conservation.In view of the specific situation of Tianxin Village,revitalization paths and countermeasures are proposed,such as preserving traditional dwellings,building intelligent infrastructures,constructing a characteristic industrial system and inheriting culture;finally,it emphasizes the importance of comprehensive strategies to realize the revitalization of"hollow villages".
